About the Owners
Meet Tim and Gerald Miller. As brothers, they have been partners in the furniture business for many years and form a great team as co-owners of their four La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries locations.
When asked, “Why the furniture business?” Tim answered, “I love the fashion aspect of furniture and how it follows the trends and styles of fashion.” He also loves the people side of owning the showrooms; you are likely to find him on the floor chatting up various customers who are browsing around.
Gerald, on the other hand, has a passion for the business aspect and has a keen understanding of the industry. He adds, “I love working for La-Z-Boy because it is such a family-oriented company. It’s really like a big family.”
Together they strive to provide a great experience for customers who are looking for comfortable and stylish furniture.
Gerald notes, “For furniture to be comfortable, it has to have three elements:
It has to, of course, sit comfortable It has to be comfortable on the eye and fashionable to look at
And most importantly, it has to be comfortable to live with and fit into your life and your home.
The fact that La-Z-Boy provides this whole package of comfort is why we are behind the brand; it’s the brand recognition that people trust and we love that.”
Another thing that comes through with Tim and Gerald is their care and love for their community, both locally and internationally. They do this locally through projects like furnishing Ronald McDonald House, The Kidney Foundation, Childrens Hospital and numerous local schools and sports teams. Overseas trips include Guatemala, Haiti, Ecuador and Colombia for outreach and aid.
Day to day, they are always excited about helping customers create beautiful and comfortable rooms in their homes.
